WHAT IS HOPEFALL GATHERING
Compass of Carolina’s largest fundraising event of the year, offering sponsors the chance to actively support the mission of providing compassionate services to individuals & families in need through counseling, education, and fiduciary management. Held at The Embassy Suites (Verdae Blvd), attendees will have the chance to mingle and dine with like-minded philanthropists and community members while learning more about the growth and opportunities Compass is embarking upon in the coming year while hearing from some key speakers centered around the life changing work Compass has done in their 105 year history.
Hopefall is specifically held annually in the month of October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and will aim to educate the attendees on the positive effects and life change that occurs when participants receive psychotherapeutic support through Compass. The goal is to encourage more involvement and bring awareness to the services available through Compass which is critical to building a strengthened community with resilient individuals and stable families.

All funds raised during the 2024 Hopefall event will support critical program operational needs. ABOUT COMPASS OF CAROLINA
Established in 1919, this year we are celebrating 105 years of helping others find the right path in life by seeking positive solutions to improve their lives and relationships, providing clarity, intervention, and education through a variety of critical, core services.
What started as a refuge for homeless young women expanded to serve all youth and soon became the Juvenile Protective Association, serving 26 children; a service that was instrumental in establishing the Children’s Court of Greenville County.
Known as the Family Resource Center of Greenville, Compass’s history in the 1960’s contained a diverse program array that included adoptions, domestic violence counseling and shelter, and credit counseling. In 1996, the adoption of the name Compass of Carolina was finalized and our focus area was defined in community counseling and intervention services.
