This year marks the 105th Anniversary of Compass of Carolina and we hope you will join our celebration! Your support during Domestic Violence Awareness Month can make a life-changing difference.

Myra Ruiz, Senior Reporter, Fox Carolina News, will guide our time together as neighbors from our community share impactful stories of how Compass empowers economic mobility for those overcoming family violence.

We will also hear from Stephán “Coach Q” Askew, Sr., an award winning coach, author, social entrepreneur and decorated military veteran. A leading voice on positive behavior change, Coach Q is a master cognitive behavioral specialist with a strong commitment to reducing recidivism. Coach Q’s multi-faceted talents and diverse background, coupled with his firm, direct approach make him a dynamic speaker and engaging motivator with a proven record of excellence. Utilizing his message of Hope, Faith & Perseverance, he motivates individuals from all facets of life to realize that they are Unbreakable and with The Mindset of a Champion they can achieve greatness no matter their circumstances while also instilling the importance of giving back once one has reached their desired accomplishments!

WHAT IS HOPEFALL GATHERING
Compass of Carolina’s largest fundraising event of the year, offering sponsors the chance to actively support the mission of providing compassionate services to individuals & families in need through counseling, education, and fiduciary management. Held at The Embassy Suites (Verdae Blvd), attendees will have the chance to mingle and dine with like-minded philanthropists and community members while learning more about the growth and opportunities Compass is embarking upon in the coming year while hearing from some key speakers centered around the life changing work Compass has done in their 105 year history.

Hopefall is specifically held annually in the month of October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and will aim to educate the attendees on the positive effects and life change that occurs when participants receive psychotherapeutic support through Compass. The goal is to encourage more involvement and bring awareness to the services available through Compass which is critical to building a strengthened community with resilient individuals and stable families.
